The SAC has been invited to a Fun Day at Jenny Dove's pub (The Swan, Three Mile Cross, Near Reading) on July 19th. It is a BBQ, and a match against the Borzoi Club. Open to all, no need to be a SAC member. The cost is £6 for the super BBQ which commences at midday, followed by the fun classes. The idea is for Borzois to be matched against Afghans, but if any Affie people have other breeds, they are welcome too.

If anyone wishes to go, would you let the Secretary know at some point, as Jenny would like to know the catering numbers. Apparently the Borzoi Club do this every year against various hound breeds and it is a great day, with a marquee in the pub garden and of course a bar!
